The Microalbumin measurement in random urine sample is affected by the concentration (water content) of Urine. Concentrated urine results in falsely elevated result and diluted urine results in falsely depressed result. In other words, the result with random urine sample may give false positive or false negative result. It is a choice to detect chronic kidney disease (ckd) at early stage in clinic.
