These masks were designed and developed by a Sewaj Neesim Foundation in collaboration with IIT Delhi startup. Sewaj Neesim Foundation is working towards a noble initiative to utilise old uniforms worn by the armed forces effectively. It has multiple layers; Layer-1 (inner layer) is ultra-soft cotton fabric, bio-washed fabric to be anti-allergic, comfortable and provides extra filtration. Layer-2 (middle filter layer) has melt-blown/spun-bond technology-based nonwoven filter system for ultra-high filtration greater than 99% at 3 microns. Layer-3 (outer layer) is woven fabric (developed from the recycling of army uniforms) for the first layer's protection from large particles and splash. The mask's filtration system is tested per ASTM Standards from a NABL Accredited Lab.

Uses:

• This mask provides protection from harmful pathogens, airborne irritants, dust, allergens, and pollens

Product Specification and Features:

• Inner fabric layer is made of 100% cotton, giving a very soft touch to the skin, and is easy to wear for long hours

• Outer fabric cloth (obtained from recycling of army uniforms) is in woven construction, and the mask is comfortable to wear in hot weather and dries faster

• Pack contains Kawach masks with attached flexible nose pins for improved compliance, and adjustable earloops for extra comfort to the ear

• The middle filter layer is uniquely engineered with microfibers using melt-blown/spun-bond technology to protect from pollutants, dust, spore, smog, allergen and other microparticles

Directions For Use:

• The mask should be worn in a proper way so that the nose and mouth are covered

Safety Information:

• Hand wash in lukewarm water (30-40 degrees)

• Do not use bleach

• Do not squeeze or rinse

• No steam press, iron at less than 60 degrees

• Change your mask when you start having issues in breathing while wearing mask

• It is only recommended for the general public with low risk to exposure
