Nanz Comfort Alternating Pressure System Mattress is suitable for pressure ulcer therapy and includes an adjustable pump that allows for individual caregiver comfort settings. The heavy-duty, bubble-style pad is heat-sealed by uniform tooling that makes the pad more durable. The bubble air mattress is used for family, hospital, and medical institutes. They are used to prevent the likelihood of decubitus and facilitate the healing of sores already formed.

Good to Know: The pump has to be continuously ‘ON’ to maintain alternating pressure and avoid air loss.

Directions for Use:

• Place the air mattress on the flatbed, then open the pump’s hanger to the proper width and hang the pump to the food end bed rail

• Connect the tube hoses to the pump and mattress as tight as possible

• Tuck the flips on the head and tail end of the bubble mattress under the bed pad and make sure the tubes are not knotted or tucked under the mattress

• Switch the dial of the pressure knob to the maximum, plug the power cord into the outlet and turn it on. (Ensure the voltage is connected)

• It takes about 15-20 minutes to inflate, then start to alternate. The pump unit needs to be constantly on. Switching off the pump will lead to the deflation of the mattress

• Adjust the pressure according to the need and comfort of the patient

• Remember air comes out of one of the outlets only

• Wipe clean with only a damp cloth

• Use a mild detergent or any other cleaners to remove stains. Do not use strong chemicals to remove stains

• Ensure the mattress is completely deflated before storage
