Benefits of Acnicin Cream
In Acne
Acnicin Cream treats acne, commonly called pimples. It kills the acne-causing bacteria and prevents spots or pimples from appearing. It usually takes a few weeks to have a noticeable effect so keep using it even if it appears not to be working. Sometimes acne may get worse before it gets better, however, with proper use, your skin will get clearer. The earlier you start using it, the less likely you are to get scars. This medicine will help improve your mood and uplift your confidence as your skin becomes acne free. It should not be used if you have eczema or sunburned skin.
In Treatment of Bacterial infections
Acnicin Cream is an antibiotic medicine which can be used to treat many different infections caused by bacteria. These include infections of the ear, nose, throat, lungs and skin. It stops the growth of the bacteria causing the infection and clears the infection. Take it for as long as prescribed by the doctor and avoid skipping doses. This will make sure that all bacteria are killed and they do not become resistant.

FAQs
How should Acnicin Cream be applied?
Acnicin Cream should be applied twice daily. It should be applied to a dry, clean face to lessen the possibility of irritation. Spread it gently and uniformly in a thin layer but you need not rub it in.
What is Acnicin Cream used for?
Acnicin Cream is used for treatment of acne vulgaris also known as pimples or spots. It is used to reduce the growth of bacteria which cause acne. It can also be used to treat skin infections.
What precautions need to be followed while applying Acnicin Cream?
Acnicin Cream should be applied cautiously. It should not come into contact with the eyes, lips, or the lining of the mouth or nose. Do not apply to broken skin. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Be careful not to use cosmetic products containing alcohol, irritant, or medicated soaps, as these may cause irritation or drying effects.
How long does it take for Acnicin Cream to work for acne?
Successful treatment of acne may take several weeks or even months. The normal treatment time is 10 to 12 weeks. Consult your doctor, if you do not see improvement at the end of the prescribed course of treatment.
If Acnicin Cream does not help me with acne, can I use clindamycin?
If you have already used Acnicin Cream, antibiotics of the same class (macrolides), clindamycin and lincomycin may also not work. This could be because of drug resistance. In this, the bacteria gets modified in your body and medicines may not be able to treat the new modified form.
How should Acnicin Cream be stored?
Store it in a cool dry place below 25 degrees centigrade. Some of the preparations may contain alcohol, which are flammable, and therefore should be kept away from high temperatures.
What if I forget to apply Acnicin Cream?
Try not to forget to use Acnicin Cream, as missing an application will slow down the healing process. However, if you have missed an application, use Acnicin Cream as soon as you remember, but a gap of about three hours is required before you use it again.
