It works by preventing cells called platelets from sticking together and helps to prevent your blood from clotting inside veins and arteries. This helps the blood flow freely around your body thereby preventing a stroke. It is given as an injection by your doctor or healthcare provider. Take this medicine regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes to achieve maximum benefits. It is often prescribed along with a low dose of aspirin which also helps to prevent blood from clotting.
