Extreme + Tablet DT has two main uses. The most common is to treat erectile dysfunction in men. It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. It is also used in the treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH).

In Treatment of Erectile dysfunction
Extreme + Tablet DT belongs to a group of medicines called PDE5 inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis. This allows blood to flow into the penis and produce an erection when sexually aroused. This medicine will only help get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. It is very effective but needs to be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity.
Do not take this medicine if you also take medicines called nitrates (often given for chest pain).

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Extreme Tablet DT
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Extreme + Tablet DT may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Extreme Tablet DT works
Extreme + Tablet DT is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels.

Quick tips
- You have been prescribed Extreme + Tablet DT for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
- It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But, you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
- Do not take it more than once a day.
- It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid drinking alcohol as it can reduce your ability to get an erection and can make dizziness worse.
- Seek medical attention if the erection persists for more than 4 hours after sexual intercourse.

No, using Extreme + Tablet DT does not affect fertility. It works by relaxing the muscles of penile blood vessels and has no effect on fertility.
Do I need to avoid alcohol while taking Extreme + Tablet DT?
Alcohol in small amounts may not cause any discomfort to you. However, drinking too much alcohol (5 units or greater) can increase your chances of getting a headache or feeling dizzy, increased heart rate or low blood pressure.
What are the symptoms that should prompt me to discontinue Extreme + Tablet DT?
You should immediately consult your doctor if you experience sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, sudden decrease in hearing or hearing loss, ringing in ears and dizziness. Also, contact your doctor if you experience prolonged erections greater than 4 hours and painful erections greater than 6 hours in duration.
