- Hyponat 20mg Injection is usually only given in a hospital to treat low sodium levels in the blood.
- It also improves urine flow without causing the body to lose too much sodium as you urinate.
- It is given by an injection or drip into a vein (intravenously).
- To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
- To avoid dehydration, it is best to drink something as soon as you feel thirsty.

Yes, this medicine may cause your blood pressure to fall (particularly in the early days of your treatment). Avoid getting up too fast from a sitting or lying position, or you may feel dizzy. Get up slowly and steady yourself to prevent a fall.
