LNZ 600 Tablet is an antibiotic medicine used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections. It is used to treat infections of the lungs (pneumonia), skin, and soft tissues.

LNZ 600 Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. You should take it regularly as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you to remember to take it. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. If you stop taking this medicine too early then infection may return or worsen.

The most common side effects of LNZ 600 Tablet include vomiting, headache, nausea, decreased blood cell counts, and diarrhea. These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days.

Before using it, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotics or have any kidney or liver problems. You should also let your doctor know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before using it.

What if you forget to take LNZ Tablet?

If you miss a dose of LNZ 600 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

I have been suffering from fever from last two days, on seeing the prescribed me lnz 600 for 7days. But at that time i dint have a cough. From today, i am suffering from a cough. Previously, i used to take azithromycine tablets. Now, shall i stop lnz 600 to take azithromycine or shall i continue with lnz 600.

Yes, the use of LNZ 600 Tablet can cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic which kills the harmful bacteria. However, it also affects the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and causes diarrhea. If you are experiencing severe diarrhea, talk to your doctor about it.

What foods should I avoid while taking LNZ 600 Tablet?

You should avoid taking large quantities of food that contain high tyramine in it. Foods that are fermented, cured, aged or spoiled contain high amount of tyramine e.g cheese, red wine, pickle, over ripe fruits etc. Consuming tyramine while taking LNZ 600 Tablet can result in elevation of blood pressure, which may result in an emergency situation.
