Neorof 1% Injection is a general anesthetic agent. It works by causing loss of consciousness for a certain duration of time. This helps to carry out major surgical procedures without causing pain or discomfort to the patient. It is given as an injection by a specialist doctor called an anesthetist in a hospital setup.

Neorof 1% Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breast feeding
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Neorof 1% Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE
Neorof 1% Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Neorof 1% Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Neorof 1% Injection is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Use of Neorof 1% Injection can cause green discoloration of urine.

Liver
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
