Paratuf-D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Paratuf-D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Paratuf-D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Paratuf-D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, the use of Paratuf-D Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

What if you forget to take Paratuf-D Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Paratuf-D Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

What is Paratuf-D Tablet?

Paratuf-D Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Paracetamol/Acetaminophen. Domperidone helps to control vomiting. It also increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. This prevents nausea and vomiting caused due to migraine. Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever associated with migraine.

Can I take a higher than the recommended dose of this medicine?

No, taking a higher than the recommended dose of Paratuf-D Tablet can increase the risks of side effects and liver damage. If you are experiencing increased severity of symptoms that are not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.

Can I get addicted to Paratuf-D Tablet?

No, there is no report of any patient getting addicted to Paratuf-D Tablet.

Can the use of Paratuf-D Tablet cause damage to liver?

Yes, Paratuf-D Tablet can cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage.
