Pdx Tablet is a combination medicine that is prescribed to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the microorganisms to prevent their growth.
Pdx Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It should be taken with food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. The medicine should be swallowed as a whole without crushing or chewing. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. How Pdx Tablet works
Pdx Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Amoxycillin and Tinidazole. Amoxycillin kills bacteria by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is needed for them to survive. Tinidazole kills other microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

What if you forget to take Pdx Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Pdx Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Pdx Tablet
- Pdx Tablet must be taken with food at the same time every day.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
- Discontinue Pdx Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
- Do not drink alcohol during or for 2-3 days after treatment with this medicine. You may develop nausea, vomiting, flushing and headache.
- Inform your doctor if you have liver disease. Your dose may need to be adjusted in severe liver disease.
