Sprot Plus Tablet
- You have been prescribed Sprot Plus 400 mg/500 mg/100 mg Tablet for the treatment of diarrhea.
- Diarrhea can cause water loss and electrolyte imbalance. Drink plenty of fluids especially ORS (oral rehydration solution) to help keep you hydrated.
- Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea).
- Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.
- Do not drink alcohol while taking and till 4 days after taking this medication. This is because drinking alcohol with Sprot Plus 400 mg/500 mg/100 mg Tablet is likely to make you feel very sick (nauseated) and cause other unpleasant effects, such as hot flushes, headaches, and palpitations (fast heartbeat).
- Consult your doctor if your diarrhea lasts for more than 48 hours.
