T Dot 20mg Syrup is an antispasmodic medicine. In children, it is used in the treatment of abdominal pain. It provides relief from the pain associated with irritable bowel syndrome, intestinal or kidney stones, or other gastrointestinal diseases.

T Dot 20mg Syrup is used to treat painful menstruation and other diseases caused by smooth muscle tightness and also to aid in child birth (delivery)

What if you forget to take T Dot Syrup?

Do not panic. Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, give the missed dose as soon as you remember it. Skip the missed dose if it is almost the time for the next dose. Do not give a double dose to catch up and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.

T Dot 20mg Syrup may cause drowsiness and/or blurred vision. These side effects may impair physical or mental abilities. Therefore, it is advised to avoid the use of T Dot 20mg Syrup if your child has to perform a task that requires mental alertness.

Can I give T Dot 20mg Syrup to my child who is suffering from heart disease?

T Dot 20mg Syrup should be used with caution in children with heart disease as it can lower blood pressure levels. Always consult your child’s doctor before giving T Dot 20mg Syrup to your child.

What will happen if I overdose on T Dot 20mg Syrup?

Excessive intake of T Dot 20mg Syrup can result in increased incidence of side effects <br>In children. The symptoms of overdose include- nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, fall in blood pressure, and increased heart rate. In case of an overdose, consult your child’s doctor on an immediate basis.

What will happen if my child intake an expired T Dot 20mg Syrup?

My child is having constipation. Can I give T Dot 20mg Syrup?

Antispasmodic medicines such as T Dot 20mg Syrup relieve the stomach cramps brought on by irritable bowel syndrome by relaxing the smooth muscle of the gut. But these medicines may cause constipation as a side -effect, so they are not usually prescribed for children who develop constipation in IBS.

In which conditions should I avoid giving T Dot 20mg Syrup to my child?

Avoid giving T Dot 20mg Syrup in conditions like gastrointestinal obstruction, inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), cardiovascular disease, liver impairment, renal malfunction, hyperthyroidism, urinary obstruction, glaucoma, neuromuscular disease, down syndrome, or hypersensitivity to T Dot 20mg Syrup.
