Frequently asked questions about Dorzolamide
Q. What does Arodor Eye Drop do?
Arodor Eye Drop reduces the pressure inside the eyes, known as intraocular pressure. This reduces the risk of damage to the optic nerve responsible for normal vision. If the pressure in the eye is not controlled, it can gradually lead to blindness. Arodor Eye Drop effectively controls glaucoma by decreasing the pressure in the eyes.
Q. How long does Arodor Eye Drop take to work?
Usually, Arodor Eye Drop starts working soon after instilling it. However, it may take around 8 hours to show beneficial effects. Consult your doctor if you do not find significant results or if your eyes feel irritated after using Arodor Eye Drop.
Q. Can I stop Arodor Eye Drop if I am fine now?
No, you should not stop using Arodor Eye Drop without consulting your doctor. If you stop taking this medicine suddenly, the pressure in your eyes may not be controlled which may increase the risk of loss of sight. Consult your doctor if you wish to stop the medication.
Q. Should I keep Arodor Eye Drop in the refrigerator?
You do not need to refrigerate Arodor Eye Drop after opening the bottle. However, store it in a cool place and below 25℃. Keep the container tightly closed and away from sunlight.
Q. When should I seek a doctor’s advice?
You should contact your doctor immediately if you develop an eye infection, conjunctivitis or an eyelid reaction. Also, you should inform the doctor if you have an eye injury or eye surgery. Discuss with your doctor if you have to continue using Arodor Eye Drop.
Q. Can I use Arodor Eye Drop with contact lenses?
No, you should remove your contact lenses before instilling Arodor Eye Drop. You can re-insert the lens 15 minutes after using Arodor Eye Drop. Contact your doctor if there is any eye irritation that persists.
