How Betacid Products work

Magaldrate is an inorganic salt that neutralizes the excess acid in the stomach. Alginic acid forms a thick foam in the stomach which acts as a barrier to reflux (acid going up to the food pipe). Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
