Viscomet PF

Viscomet PF Injection belongs to a class of medicines called eye lubricants or artificial tears. It is used to soothe irritation, burning and discomfort of dry eye conditions. These conditions could be a result of deficient tear production, infrequent blinking, smoke, wind, pollution, extended use of computer screen or television, medical treatment and dry atmospheric conditions. Viscomet PF Injection may also be used to aid insertion of contact lenses or to make the lenses more comfortable while wearing.

Viscomet PF Injection is effective if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition. If you stop using Viscomet PF Injection too early, the symptoms may return or worsen.

Use of Viscomet PF Injection should be avoided in patients who are allergic to Viscomet PF Injection or any of its components. However, if you are not aware of any allergy or if you are using Viscomet PF Injection for the first time, consult your doctor.

You may experience visual disturbances and eye discharge while using this medicine. Some other side effects of this medicine include redness of the eye, eye irritation, burning and discomfort, eyelid swelling and itching of the eye. If any of these side effects bother you, please consult your doctor.
