Shanchol Oral Vaccine
Product introduction
Cholera vaccine is usually given orally (by mouth) as a single dose. You will receive this suspension in a clinic or other healthcare setting. This vaccine should be taken on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 1 hour after eating.
The most common side effects include fever, vomiting, abdominal pain, itching, rashes, nausea, weakness, cough, vertigo, and dryness in the mouth. They do not normally last very long. Sitting or lying down can sometimes help. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects persist or worry you.
Before having the Shanchol Oral Vaccine, you should tell your doctor if you have ever had an allergic reaction to a vaccine.
